The late Walter Wadlington was the James Ma dison Professor of Law Eme ritus at

the University of Virg inia. He authored nume rous articles an d books pertain ing to

domestic relations, c hildren and the law, and historical p reservation. Dur ing his

teaching career he pur posefully influenc ed the legal profess ion, state and federal

legislation, and the lives of th ousands of students.

Raymond C. O’Brien is a Professo r of Law Emeritus at the Catholic U niversity

of America, Colum bus School of Law and is a vis iting Professor of Law at the

Georgetown Universit y Law Center. He has authored nume rous articles on d omestic

relations, to include as sisted reproductive tech nology, genome editing, nonma rital

cohabitation, and chi ld endangerment. In a ddition, he has writte n numerous articl es

on trusts and estate s and coauthored books o n Decedents’ Estates, E lder Law,

Sexual Exploitation of C hildren, and the Prudent Ad ministration of Trusts.

Robin Fretwell Wilson holds t he Mildred Van Voorhis Jones Chair in L aw at the

University of Illinois C ollege of Law. She has authored nu merous article s and books

pertaining to the A merican Law Institute’s Principles of the Law of Family Dissol ution,

same-sex marri age, and religious liber ty. She serves on the E xecutive Council and

as Newsletter Editor for Inter national Survey of Family L aw and ranks among the Top

10 US Family Law Scholars for impact . In 2018, she was honored as one of the 150

for 150: Celebrating the Accomplis hments of Women at the Universi ty of Illinois at

Urbana-Champaign for its sesquicentennial celebration.
