While Millennials voted overwhelmingly for President Obama, their economic prospects have stagnated under the Obama Administration. The 2014 Federalist Society National Lawyers Convention on "Millennials, Equity, and the Rule of Law" addressed, among other topics, the challenges that young adults face in today's economy. We are thrilled to have the opportunity to publish several Essays adapted from comments given at the Convention.

As part of a panel titled Youth, Employment, and the Law, Professors Gail Heriot, Richard A. Epstein, and J.H. Verkerke discussed the ways in which employment laws affect young adults' employment opportunities. Each of these authors has been kind enough to provide us with a thoughtful and well-written Essay addressing this issue.

We also have the pleasure of publishing four Articles in this Issue. Professor Stephen E. Sachs argues that originalism should be seen as a theory of legal change. Professor Michael B. Rappaport discusses the original meaning of the Recess Appointments Clause. Professor W. Kip Viscusi and Mr. Ted Gayer use the insights of behavioral economics to argue that government regulators often behave irrationally. Finally, Mr. Timothy Sandefur discusses state competitor's veto laws and possible federal solutions. We are grateful to the Mercatus Center at George Mason University for their financial, research, and editing support with the last two Articles.

The publication of this Issue marks the end of my time on the Journal, and I would like to extend special thanks to a few people whose extraordinary efforts allowed us to produce this Volume. Stephanie Freudenberg has worked tirelessly for the Journal over the past three years, and I could not have asked for a better Deputy Editor-in-Chief or a better friend.
