I read with interest your article on "Defining Business Friendly" (Robert Schwab, "On Colorado," and "Gale Force," August). I appreciated your viewpoints. Now I would like to share mine:

To me, business-friendly does not mean allowing businesses to pollute, then slapping their hand when they're caught. Business-friendly does not mean drilling in pristine places, untouched by human development, for a commodity we will no longer need (oil) in the future, as better, more environmentally friendly alternatives are discovered and invented, and brought to market.
