I read with interest your article on "Defining Business Friendly" (Robert Schwab, "On Colorado," and "Gale Force," August). I appreciated your viewpoints. Now I would like to share mine:

To me, business-friendly does not mean allowing businesses to pollute, then slapping their hand when they're caught. Business-friendly does not mean drilling in pristine places, untouched by human development, for a commodity we will no longer need (oil) in the future, as better, more environmentally friendly alternatives are discovered and invented, and brought to market. Business friendly does not mean forsaking our souls and environment...
