POWERHOME keeps pounding.

This year has been filled with achievements for Mooresville-based POWERHOME Solar, which has over 650 employees across its nine-state footprint. In July, it was named the number 6 residential rooftop solar installer in the nation by Solar Power World, and in August, it made the Inc. 500 list of the fastest-growing private companies in America for a second time, coming in at number 100 after being 96 on the list two years ago. Among solar energy companies on that esteemed list, POWERHOME is the nation's fastest-growing entity.

While those accolades speak to our growth in providing solar energy to residential and commercial customers, none of it happens without customers and partners who see the value in going green, too. For example, the Carolina Panthers. POWERHOME is the official solar partner of the Panthers, and in March, POWERHOME installed solar panels at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, helping the pro-football franchise reduce its dependence on grid energy and lower its carbon footprint.

As part of this partnership, POWERHOME produced a humorous commercial starring a number of Panthers players, including Luke Kuechly and Curtis Samuel. Former Panthers center Ryan Kalil served as the director.
