GEERT AALBERS is Control Risks' General Manager for Brazil and Director of Corporate Investigations Latin America. He leads teams of consultants in Mexico City, Bogotá and Sao Paulo experienced in fraud, compliance, asset tracing, business intelligence, reputational due diligence and litigation support. He also works with consulting teams to support clients in and from Latin America to manage their enterprise risks, particularly on political, social, security and integrity issues. Prior to joining Control Risks, he was CFO of Makro Venezuela, subsidiary of Netherlands based SHV Group, where he headed a team of 60 people in treasury, accounting, cost control and risk management in addition to being a Board and Audit Committee member. Previously Geert was Director at Roland Berger in Sao Paulo, and worked at Armstrong International in New York and London. Geert is a Dutch national, and has lived in Europe, United States, Asia and Latin America.
