Your article's statement ("Racism still a workplace problem," Robert Schwab, February) that Colorado "does not track the number of contracts it signs with minority-owned or women-owned businesses" combined with your comment "it doesn't want to know," sheds yet more light on the author's topic and ability to think it through.

If I were to be in sync with the thrust of your article, I'd have to conclude "that damned State. What a crowd of racists and women-haters."

Maybe you're right that "it doesn't want to know." Nevertheless, your article was conveniently incomplete in order to make your point. The State, I would guess, also neglects to...
