DON KORTZ, chairman of the Denver-based commercial real estate firm Fuller & Co., has been elected the new chairman for the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce for 2003-2004. He was inducted Sept. 4 during the chamber's 119th Annual Membership Meeting and luncheon at the Adam's Mark Hotel in downtown Denver.

Two other prominent chamber contributors were honored at the luncheon. HARRY T. LEWIS JR. was given the "Del Hock Lifetime Achievement Award," for an individual "whose wisdom, involvement and leadership ultimately determine the destiny of a community." Lewis is the owner of Lewis Investments. PHILLIP HOGUE received the "2003 Leadership Denver Outstanding Alumnus Award," given to "an alumnus of the Leadership Denver program who has served as an exemplary model of business and community stewardship, significantly contributing to the quality of life in the Denver metro area." Hogue is the founding president and former CEO of the Daniels Fund.
