In response to Dave Zirin's column concerning the exploitation of Latin American ballplayers, I would propose a simple solution ("Owners Out at Home Base," March issue). Conduct a plebiscite in the individual Latin American countries with only ballplayers voting. (Politicians and Major League Baseball owners need not vote.)
