The first System of Systems Engineering Symposium--cosponsored recently by NDIA's Pittsburgh Chapter and the System of Systems Engineering Center of Excellence, of Johnstown, Pa.--" was a resounding success," said Chapter President Frank W. Cooper Jr.

The event, held in Johnstown, attracted more than 190 attendees, many of whom joined NDIA, he said. Speakers included Rep. John Murtha, D.-Pa., and retired Air Force Gen. Lester Lyles, former head of the Air Force Materiel Command.
