The final paragraph of "Victory in the Pipeline" is unfortunately inaccurate (by Jason Mark, June issue).

While it is true that the residents of Pine Ridge blocked two trucks that were traveling through the reservation, the trucks did not turn around. They were allowed to continue under police escort.
