Solar energy installer Pink Energy filed for bankruptcy liquidation after hundreds of customers complained about the company's ineffective products and customer service. The Mooresville-based company said it employed more than 1,650 employees and had annual sales of nearly $600 million in 2021, making it among North Carolina's largest privately held businesses. Its filing listed debts topping $ 138 million.
