New from Hewlett-Packard are innovative e-printers, which, in addition to wireless printing, allow direct access from mobile devices, laptops, and home computers, and offer even more connectivity through free apps.

Our web-connected Photosmart D110a lets the family print from anywhere, anytime. Wirelessly connected to the Internet through a suite of apps--including Yahoo! and msnbc.com for daily news; Crayola, KoL.com, and PBS Kids for families; Picasa Web Albums and Facebook for printing photos; MapQuest for maps and directions; Artsonia for images from the world's largest kids art museum; Arrival Guides travel plans for hundreds of destinations around the world; and Live Nation for access to concert tickets and promotions--the printer is transformed into a publishing platform.

The integrated wireless feature lets us print from multiple PCs anywhere in the home, and the e-print technology assigns an e-mail address to the printer allowing users to e-mail documents directly to the D110a for printing from any location. A...
