He has recently, we understand, undertaken a translation (abridged and more philosophically focused for the modern reader) of Jayatirtha's awesome Nydyasudha. Ciram jivatu bhavan! The present work is a revision of the author's 1962 book of the same title; the modifications, though not substantial, seem largely motivated by an effort to take account of, and to refute, when necessary, the positions set forth in three intervening studies, K. Narain's Outlines of Madhva Philosophy (Allahabad, 1962) and A Critique of the Madhva Refutation of Sankara Vedanta (Allahabad, 1964), and K.
