I nodded in agreement as I read your article "The Bush Plunge" (Comment, August issue). But I was so very disappointed in your recommendations for actions to stop the horrible war in Iraq--more marches and demonstrations.

I think marches are fine if they are nonviolent, as you do. But I think it's more important that the marches end with every participant marching on home to write a letter or a postcard in their own...
