Central McGowan, a local supplier of equipment and technology for manufacturing and other industries, has hired Pete Rogers to lead the company's automation division.

Rogers comes to the company after 13 years with Acieta, an automation technology company with offices in Wisconsin and Iowa. As vice president of operations at Acieta, Rogers oversaw the firm's service, integration, controls, manufacturing and assembly groups.

As vice president and general manager, and leader of Central McGowan's automation division, Rogers sees "tremendous growth potential based on current and future labor, worker safety and inspection trends," according to a press release.
