Deepening Engagement

Thank you to each and every member of the ABA Section of Intellectual Property Law (ABA-IPL). I know that

you have many competing demands on your time and nancial resources, and I truly appreciate your choosing

to invest in this Section.

It has been a busy and productive quarter for the Section. I appreciate the countless hours that Section members have

invested in important public policy issues and providing superior programming. I am continually impressed with the

talents of our members.

Programming

This quarter, we presented the first annual Prosecute Like a Pro: Patent Prosecution Boot Camp. This two-day virtual

event in October 2025 surpassed its goals. Prosecution professionals from the U.S. and other jurisdictions provided

valuable insights to train the next generation of intellectual property (IP) lawyers. The faculty included Tammy

Pennington Rhodes, Robert Bahr, MaCharri Vorndran-Jones, Robert Watson, David Postolski, Rivka Monheit, Lauren

Mitchell, Christine Hansen, Aydin Harston, Joseph Falcon, Chris Katopis, Howard Skaist, Tom Irving, Kevin Noonan,
