The FTB will conduct a pilot program for installment agreements for individual taxpayers from Sept. 1-Dec. 31, 2005.

The program looks to change the installment agreement conditions from $10,000 within 36 months to $25,000 within 60 months. Applicants qualify if they:

* Owe a balance of $25,000 or less;

* Agree to pay in full within 60 months or less; and

* Have filed all required personal income tax returns.
