PCPS executive committee tackles pressing issues.

At the most recent PCPS Executive Committee meeting, the main agenda items involved developing and improving resources to help members be successful, and advocating on behalf of CPA firms. For example, to help practitioners address the challenges of a troubled economy, PCPS is planning new podcasts in its PCPS Economic Podcast series, which covers many of the most critical issues facing firms and their clients in a recession. Watch for further details as the series is launched. The executive committee also reviewed the tools available in the new PCPS Client Service Resource Center. The center is a direct response to the results of the 2009 PCPS CPA Firm Top Issues Survey, which found that client retention was the main concern for firms of all sizes.
