Dear The Progressive staff: I apologize for being unable to pay for a subscription or donate. While many prisoners have received a $600 or $ 1,400 CARES Act check, I have not, and I'm still several thousand dollars in debt due to the Prison Litigation Reform Act, which obliges prisoners (unlike nonprisoners) to pay all filing fees, should we sue.
