At least 60% of North Carolina workers will need a postsecondary degree or nondegree credential by 2030, according to North Carolina's Leaky Educational Pipeline & Pathways to 60% Postsecondary Attainment report. Currently, 47% of North Carolina adults ages 25-64 have a postsecondary degree or credential; this share is projected to rise to 56% by 2030 but will still fall below projected needs. Here are some of the report's main findings.
