A RAMARK Correctional Services (ACS) provides a wide range of food, facility and other support solutions to more than 400 correctional facilities in North America. ACS prepares 380 million meals annually and offers state, county and city correctional facilities a single source for food service management, commissary services, inmate training, laundry management, facilities management and community-based Meals on Wheels programs. With 30 years of experience serving corrections, public safety and community services institutions, ACS is the oldest and largest provider of managed service solutions in these markets. ACS has been a proud partner and sponsor of the American Correctional Association for more than 20 years.

ACS's award-winning IN2WORK program is a multiphase certification program designed to teach qualified offenders transferable skills and experiences in food service that can be leveraged when they reenter the workforce to help open doors to employment upon release. With curriculum planned by education professionals, participants are trained by experienced instructors, both in the classroom and in the kitchen, in areas of food safety, equipment safety, retail and business basics, food purchasing, handling and storage.

Upon completion of the course and receiving passing scores on exams, participants receive both ACS and ServSafe certifications. Since the inception of this program, ACS has proudly graduated hundreds of female offenders, providing these women with a valuable skill set and tools to utilize upon release.
