Pandemic Is Putting a Damper on Testing.

Testing.com has published a survey about testing for sexually transmitted diseases during the pandemic. Here are some of the key findings from 1,000 people 18 and over who regularly get tested for STDs:

* More than one-third of respondents have not gotten tested for STDs since the pandemic started, and nearly the same amount are worried they have let an STD go untreated.

* Of those who did get tested, 68% report they had to wait longer than usual for their appointment, and nearly 30% indicate they would have let an STD go untreated had they not been tested.

* While 31% of respondents say the reason they have not been tested is due to limited sexual contact during the pandemic, 37% admit it was due to fear of contracting the virus while being tested.
