Paige Starkey is an Assistant Hennepin County Attorney in Minneapolis, Minnesota assigned to the Adult Prosecution Division, which handles violent felonies for Minnesota's most populace county. Paige graduated from the University of Minnesota Law School in 2013 magna cum laude and with a concentration in criminal law. She began her career as a prosecutor in Freeborn County, in south central Minnesota. Since joining the Hennepin County Attorney's Office in January 2017, Paige has developed a specialty in prosecuting crimes against children, including sexual abuse and physical abuse involving complex medical evidence. She has presented numerous times to multidisciplinary audiences on topics related to child abuse prosecution.

Paige is a relentless advocate for victims ot violent crime and their families and a dedicated public servant. She was nominated for this award specifically in connection with her work prosecuting the individuals responsible for the murder of 28-year-old realtor, Monique Baugh. On December 31, 2019, Monique Baugh was kidnapped during a real estate showing and later murdered in Minneapolis.
