It was very surprising, and seemingly very much out of line for The Progressive , to see the article by Amy Yee in your June issue ("A Friend Falls in Afghanistan"). The article serves as a paean to the Human Terrain System, a counterinsurgency program that already has one known murder to its name, as Yee herself alluded to.
