Jason Kirshner, president of mobile app developer Rocket Apps, offers a list of useful productivity applications that can help even the chronically overwhelmed executive come to grips with a daily barrage of information. These options, Kirshner says, can assist in managing the day-to-day routine:

SKWink.com. Allows users to take notes, set reminders and due dates and add a profile for easy tracking of old to-do items, notes and completed tasks. Good for keeping on top of work items and personal to-do reminders.

Future-Text.com. Enables users to prewrite a text to be sent in the future. A valuable tool for scheduling business meetings, creating work texts, keeping in touch with colleagues and clients and drafting other messages that can be sent at a later date.

PDF Maps (by Avenza). Users can access maps from iTunes, just as they do with music and books. These maps can be used without a live network connection, so a user isn't lost even when out of range.
