Outstanding ROTC officers receive Codd Award.

The National Defense Industrial Association announced the winners of its annual Colonel Leo A. Codd Memorial Award winners for 2006, which recognizes outstanding junior officers in ROTC programs throughout the United States.
First through third place winners are recognized in the Army, Navy and Air Force.
Winners receive a U.S. savings bond.
The winners in the Army from first to third place are: Maj. Steven Celeste, Florida State University; Maj. Barton L. Johnke, Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University; and Capt. Wendell G. Richards, Clemson University.
