You know your business has a fan base when an Oscar winner is hankering for your product. A few months back, Cyd Szymanski of Denver-based Nest Fresh Eggs got exactly that product endorsement when "Brokeback Mountain" screenwriter Diana Ossana e-mailed with a question: Could she get Nest Fresh organic eggs in Tucson, Ariz.?

Out of that e-mail correspondence, the two struck up a friendship.

In January when Szymanski was in Tucson on business, she enjoyed dinner out with Ossana and her "Brokeback" collaborator, Larry McMurtry. The main topic of conversation, according to the Nest Fresh CEO: "What to wear to all those awards shows!"
