New Orleans Chapter hosts all-day SALT meeting.

Traditionally, the New Orleans Chapter holds an all-day State and Local Tax Program in April at the Lindy Boggs International Conference Center on the shores of Lake Pontchartain and the campus of the University of New Orleans. This year's meeting was held on April 17, 2012. For several years, the program has received substantial sponsorship support from Wolters Kluwer and, more specifically, CCH, which favored the chapter this year with a higher level of support this year. CCH and Wolters Kluwer has also traditionally provided their most learned and experienced researchers and to speak on the controversial and troublesome SALT issues of the day, as well as to explore notable opportunities that are available to businesses in many states across the country. This year's presentations were no exception.

In addition, several leading practitioners from the best know law and consulting firms in Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama travelled to New Orleans to address the group. Among the topics covered were 2012 Mississippi Tax Update (Louis...
