I could not agree more with Jeff Rundles' January editorial, "Let's do less!" I continue to be astounded--not only by the "dumbing down" of (journalism) ... to a "third-grade level," but the lack of evocative or original ideas. We are delivered pabulum (or the party line) on a daily basis, then editors and publishers wonder why we are turning to better, more challenging writing on blogs and the Internet in general.

This is what our nation has come to--a people who have forgotten what it means to have an original, coherent, critical thought. It's no wonder...
