In her March column, Molly Ivins says Democrats should run on just three issues: exiting Iraq, campaign finance reform, and single-payer health insurance ("Enough of the D.C. Dems"). In actuality, they should run on just one issue: global warming. As James Hansen of NASA has recently pointed out, we are rapidly approaching a tipping point beyond which the Earth as we know it will cease to exist.
