Restaurant 17 gets new chef

Haydn Shaak is the new executive chef of Restaurant 17 at Hotel Domestique in Travelers Rest. Shaak has more than 20 years of culinary experience and plans to use locally-sourced ingredients in his cooking, according to a news release.

"I decided to leave Greenville's downtown foodie scene to focus more on field to table food," Shaak said, in the release. "I'm looking forward to this next chapter in my culinary journey, creating innovative cuisine for our guests at this beautiful property."
