It seems more managers are open to the idea of their employees setting their own hours--including working less than eight hours a day--so long as the work gets done. But while possibly enjoying that freedom, a survey of workers round:

72% say they need at least 8 hours a day to get their job done.

48% never disconnect from work during business hours and feel obligated to respond to messages and requests...
