The cop should have NEVER been brought into that situation. If she was being violent, then yes. She was sitting at her desk and didn't want to get up. You call her parents, her guardians, the school counselor, social worker ... I can keep going. You don't call the big white football coach cop to come in and confront her. That was sheer stupidity by the teacher/principal. The cop should have recognized right away this was not going to go well and advised them to handle it differently. In the future, there should be better training of the school staff and teaching police officers not to get involved with school disciplinary actions unless somebody is being physically threatened.
