Omnilabel adds second Durst inkjet label press.

Durst has announced that Netherlands-based Omnilabel has invested in a new digital UV Inkjet label press, the Tau 330. In 2010, Omnilabel was the first customer to install the Tau 150 Label Printer, in order to open up new market potential with digital label production. During the past four years, Omnilabel has successfully developed the digital label business, resulting in a 50% turnover increase with the Tau 150.

Due to the increasing demand of digitally printed label jobs, an expansion of production capacity became necessary for Omnilabel. The company has once again opted for Durst, investing in the Tau 330, which features a range of applications and a print quality of 1260 dpi. Durst's operational and service competence, the company says, were also crucial factors for Omnilabel, to decide against some of the competitors' lower-priced products.
