Older adults with dementia or mild cognitive impairment often struggle to remember dally tasks, including managing medications, shopping for groceries, and tracking upcoming events, including birthdays, anniversaries, or doctor appointments.

In a study involving researchers at the University of Missouri, Baylor University, and the University of Texas, older individuals were trained on how to use a personal assistant application on their smartphones to provide reminders for these tasks.
