Governor Bill Walker announced the appointment of Andy Mack as Department of Natural Resources Commissioner Mack brings over a decade of experience in Arctic policy and development. Walker named Jahna Lindemuth as Alaska's next Attorney General. Lindemuth brings extensive experience in complex commercial litigation, appeals to the Alaska Supreme Court and Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, and administrative management to her new role at Department of Law. She is currently a partner at Dorsey & Whitney, LLP, and serves as head of the firm's Anchorage office. Lindemuth will be the second woman ever to serve as Alaska's Attorney General.

John Hendrix was announced as Walker's chief oil and gas advisor, a newly created Cabinet-level position. Prior to this appointment, Hendrix worked as general manager of Apache Alaska. His extensive oil and gas background includes work as a consultant to industry managing directors, oil ministers, and the World Bank.
