Complications in data management of telephone billing records result in tremendous revenue losses and operating costs for carriers every year. Determining which company owns the billing relationship for a specific telephone number is complex and time consuming. In response to this challenge, Intrado developed IntelliBase NRLLDB to provide one consolidated repository of line-, switch-, and company-level information for every working telephone number in the North American Numbering Plan.

The Intrado NRLLDB Alliance Program, which HP has joined, is a fully integrated network of data and OSS providers, value-added resellers and integration vendors. This network ensures that future releases of NRLLDB offerings remain universally compatible and include data feeds, distribution channels and new technology elements. Intrado is working with HP to aid subscribers in integrating and automating NRLLDB into the customer's billing and record processes. As a result, customers, such as incumbent local exchange carriers (ILECs), competitive local exchange carriers (CLECs) and interexchange carriers (IXCs), will benefit from the low-cost, easy-to-implement database.
