ODE TO CONSERVATIVE JUDICIAL ACTIVISM Don't know much about activism, Don't know whether courts should run a prison. Don't know if a judge's gut reaction Should destroy affirmative action. But I do know, when all's said and done, Now it's clear at last that Dworkin's won, What a wonderful world this could be. Don't care much 'bout court legitimacy Getting it right is what matters to me, Whether it's Roe v. Wade or Bush v. Gore, Don't want to hear about that any more, 'Cause I do know we agree at last, Moral reasoning is where it's at, What a wonderful world this could be. Now--I don't claim to justify methods, But it's plain to me-- That nobody ever really worried about The countermajoritarian difficulty!!!
