Default Obligations of the Buyer under the CISG
The buyer must take delivery of and pay for the goods.
CISG Article 53
The buyer must pay the price for the goods and take delivery of them as required
by the contract and this Convention.
In most contracts, these two obligations will be spelled out in some detail.
However, to the extent the contract does not answer any particular ques‑
tion, the CISG will ll most gaps.
