NTSA Bestows Annual Modeling and Simulation Awards.

The National Training and Simulation Association--an affiliate of the National Defense Industrial Association--recently bestowed its highest honors in the modeling, simulation and training fields at the annual Interservice/Industry, Training, Simulation and Education Conference in Orlando, Florida.

Peter Hancock, a professor and researcher at the University of Central Florida, received the NTSA 2022 lifetime achievement in modeling and simulation in academia award for his work on modeling physiological systems.

NTSA's 2022 lifetime achievement in modeling and simulation in industry award was given to JoAnne Puglisi, director at Lockheed Martin's F-35 fighter jet program, for her work on the project.

The education and human performance individual award went to Sofia Santiago, president of Pathways Business Seminars, for her work on training for soldier readiness during the COVID-19 pandemic.
