Through Dec. 31 Downtown Historical 10K Volkswalk
Walk through the streets of downtown Anchorage on a route that features historical landmarks with an ongoing fact-filled narration. Volkswalks are non-competitive walks on designated routes. Starts at the Westmark Hotel, daily from dawn to dusk. Contact the Anchorage Volkssports Club at 338-4025.
Through Dec. 31 Looking Both Ways
A look at the heritage and identity of the Alutiiq people. This exhibit offers a unique introduction to the Alutiiq people of Alaska's Southoentral coast. The exhibition combines art, archaeology, history and oral tradition to trace the "Alutiiq path" through ancestral generations to contemporary life. At the Anchorage Museum of History and Art. 2 Ethos Percussion Ensemble
Ethos' success is a result of virtuoso performances that delight both the eyes and ears.
