NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EMERGENCY RESCUE AND FIRST AID SQUADS

TO FURNISH AMBULANCE SERVICE

WHEREAS, on the ______ date of _____, 20__, pursuant to Section 209-b of the General Municipal Law the Board of Fire Commissioners of the ___________________ Fire District authorized specialized Emergency rescue and First Aid Squads, and

WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 209-b(1)(b) of the General Municipal Law the Board of Fire Commissioners of the ___________________ Fire District does hereby determine that there is a need, within the _____________ Fire District, for the transportation of sick, injured or disabled persons found within the fire districts to and from a hospital, clinic, sanatorium or other place of treatment and care of such sick, injured or disabled persons.

NOW, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED that the _____________ Fire Department Emergency Rescue and First Aid Squad is hereby authorized to furnish general ambulance service for the purpose of transportation to and from a hospital, clinic, sanatorium or other place of treatment and care of sick, injured or disabled persons found within the fire districts.
