The Annual Members Business Meeting of the California Society of Certified Public Accountants will take place at 11 a.m. Friday, July 22 at the Monterey Plaza in Monterey.

The Annual Members Business Meeting will include a membership vote on: 1) the minutes from the 2004 Annual Members Business Meeting; 2) Restated Articles of Incorporation of CalCPA; and 3) election of officers and directors should there be a contested seat. If there is a contested seat, a notice with a list of candidates will be sent to members on or about July 1, 2005 and include an additional proxy form. The Report of CalCPA's 2004 Nominations Committee for the election of officers and at large members of Council follows, along with Restated Articles of Incorporation and a proxy for this meeting. The following CalCPA members have been elected by their chapters as representatives, from that chapter, to CalCPA Council. Chapter representatives on CalCPA Council may serve either a one- or a two-year term. Terms are effective from, and end upon, CalCPA's Annual Meeting. Numbers in brackets after chapter names indicate the total number of chapter representatives to CalCPA Council, based on chapter membership. State committee chairs are appointed by the CalCPA Chair, and section chairs are elected by the section.
