MANAGING EDITOR’S NOTE
NOTE FROM THE MANAGING EDITOR
I am honored to introduce myself as the new Managing Editor of Family Court Review (FCR)
and even more honored to welcome the new FCR senior editorial staff of Volume 55. The junior edi-
torial staff members of Volume 54 have all been promoted to senior staff positions. For this issue, the
staff played the roles of both junior and senior editorial staff members in the midst of the transition.
Without their diligence and dedication, the success of this issue would not have been possible.
Now that Volume 54 is coming to a conclusion, I want to take this opportunity to express my
gratitude for all of Volume 54’s senior editorial staff. I want to especially thank the preceding Man-
aging Editor, Carissa Danesi, for her guidance throughout my transition as FCR Managing Editor
and for being a true leader to all of the FCR student staff. Moreover, a sincere thank-you to both Pro-
fessor DiFonzo and Ruth Stern. We are forever grateful to you both for holding FCR together
throughout the obstacles this past year—you were pivotal to each of our successes. And, of course, a
special thanks to Dean Andy Schepard for all he has done throughout the years to ensure FCR con-
tinues to prosper. You have all truly been a pleasure to work with.
I am excited to be taking on this role and eager to continue working on Volume 55 of the Family
Court Review alongside our new editor in chief, Barbara Babb; social science editor, Bob Emery;
administrative staff editor, Matt Kiernan; and the rest of our devoted FCR family. Thank you all for
your endless support.
Respectfully,
Mishal Pahrand
