MANAGING EDITOR’S NOTE
NOTE FROM THE MANAGING EDITOR
I want to take this opportunity to welcome the junior staff members of Volume 55. I am pleased
to announce that twenty junior staff members have been selected to join the Family Court Review
(FCR) editorial staff at the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University. Each one of these
students demonstrated outstanding credentials and qualifications. They have expressed enthusiasm
and eagerness in working with FCR and I rest assured that they will carry out their journal responsi-
bilities in a manner that is consistent with FCR’s respected, high standards.
I am honored to work with the law school student staff, faculty, and administration; FCR’s spon-
soring organization, AFCC; FCR’s publisher, Wiley; and the FCR multimember and multidisciplin-
ary editorial board. Understandably, the day-to-day duties as FCR Managing Editor never end—but
with each publication, I feel more passionate about the work this prestigious journal produces and
beyond honored to have been afforded this opportunity.
Throughout the school year, the student editorial staff members have to balance school, work,
and journal obligations. We remain inspired and, on behalf of our editorial staff, I would like to sin-
cerely thank the AFCC for the opportunity to produce FCR. We are proud to present Volume 55,
Number 1 and look forward to the future issues.
Only my best,
Mishal Pahrand
