MANAGING EDITOR’SNOTE
NOTE FROM THE MANAGING EDITOR
I want to take this opportunity to welcome the Junior Staff of Volume 57. I am pleased to
announce that 20 Junior Staff members have been selected to join the Family Court Review editorial
staff at the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University. Each one of these students has
outstanding credentials and qualifications. They have expressed enthusiasm and eagerness to work
with FCR. I am confident that they will carry out their journal responsibilities in a manner that is
consistent with FCR’s respected, high standards.
I am honored to work with the law school student staff, faculty and administration; FCR’s spon-
soring organization, AFCC; FCR’s publisher, Wiley; and the FCR multi-member and multi-
disciplinary editorial board. Understandably, the day-to-day duties as FCR Managing Editor never
end. With each publication, however, I feel more passionate about the work this prestigious journal
produces, and I am honored to have this opportunity to participate.
Throughout the school year, the junior and senior student editorial staff balance school, work
and journal obligations simultaneously. We remain inspired, and, on behalf of our editorial staff, I
would like to sincerely thank AFCC for the opportunity to produce FCR. We are proud to present
Volume 57, Issue 1 and look forward to the future issues.
Only my best,
Alexandra B. Russell
