NOTE FROM THE MANAGING EDITOR
NOTE FROM THE MANAGING EDITOR OF VOLUME 54
With Volume 53 of Family Court Review (FCR) coming to a close, I am honored to introduce
our new senior editorial staff and newest junior members. Each year, the law students at the Maurice
A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University compete for a journal position with FCR. This year,
we have accepted twenty students to join FCR as junior staff members. Each student has devoted
extensive time and unwavering effort to ensure Volume 54 follows the continued success of past
volumes.
I am deeply grateful to the FCR senior staff of Volume 53, especially previous Managing Editor
Michael Slade for helping me transition into the role of Managing Editor for Volume 54. Taking on
this role has been as rewarding as it is challenging. I am extremely grateful to the members of my
editorial staff, who have handled each transition with exceptional professionalism and grace. Their
support and hard work has enabled FCR to continue its longstanding success.
I would also like to thank Professor Schepard for working with the FCR staff to produce very
stimulating and unique Student Notes for publication in this issue and future issues to come. I would
also like to thank Professor DiFonzo and Ruth Stern for their efforts and commitment to the future of
FCR.
Last, but certainly not least, on behalf of the editorial staff, I would like to sincerely thank the
AFCC for the opportunity to produce FCR and to continue working with such an incredible associa-
tion. We are proud to present Volume 53, Number 4 and look forward to those issues yet to come.
