Response to "Convicting Killer Cops Isn't Enough" (August/September issue): Although Derek Chauvin's sentencing marks progress toward fair human rights and the Black Lives Matter movement, it is sad that the process between him killing George Floyd and being sentenced took this long. If progress toward racial justice is represented by this case, what will this mean for further possible cases of police brutality? What does this mean for the futures of younger generations, specifically people of color? In what ways can the public (especially younger individuals)...
