Norwest Equity Partners expands to Florida.

A Minneapolis investment firm is expanding with a new office in Florida.

Norwest Equity Partners announced Tuesday it is opening its second location in West Palm Beach to focus on the "strong middle market community in the southeastern region," according to a press release.

The company's Florida office will work in temporary office space in Palm Beach until its long-term home, the 300,000-square-foot 360 Rosemary, is ready for occupancy in 2021. Norwest Managing Partner Tim DeVries is leading the company's expansion, and recently-added executives Sundip Murthy and Beth Lesniak also will be based in West Palm Beach.
