Northern Wisconsin attorney loses license for lying about expenses, assault.

A northern Wisconsin attorney will lose her license for six months and must pay more than $10,000 for scamming her former employer and lying about an assault.

On Tuesday, the Wisconsin Supreme Court ruled to suspend Beth Bant's license for six months starting in January 2020.The Office of Lawyer Regulation had charged Bant with two attorney-ethics violations in 2017.
